Tired of Saying Things More Than Once to Your Man?

I know this post will be very useful to any woman who knows a man. In this instance I will be talking about significant others but the same rules apply for all the men in your life. I even use this trick on my Son.

My husband has a semi bad and selective memory. He also has some kind of hearing problem that has absolutely nothing to do with his ears a all.
I ask him to pick something up at the store, do a chore, hand me something etc. Somehow he forgets to do it or doesn't even remember me asking. He didn't know I was talking to him. I didn't have his attention....the excuses go on and on. We will be in the kitchen and I'll ask him to grab the milk out of the fridge for me and I get no response and no milk . If he's doing something and I call his name, he doesn't even seem to hear me. Men and women alike know exactly what i am talking about here.

I spent years letting this annoy the shit right out of me. Saying the same things over and over till I was in a full on rage cause there was still no response. This led to me getting mad at him. Then I'd lash out and the bitching would begin. Screaming and yelling and going on and on like most of us women end up doing. Saying the usual "what the fuck is wrong with you?" "I told you 3 times, why can't you remember?"  "you never listen to me" "how many times do I have to tell you?" Then I'd call him all sorts of vulgar names and insult him.
All I ever got from that was resentment, more attitude, no results and then he'd turn it around on me. It was no longer about his issues, now it was about the way I was acting...like a bitch. It's true really. I hate that whole bitch approach. It defeats the purpose and I hate the way it makes me look and feel. It's not at all my natural way of going about things really, just a bad reaction to never ending frustration. We all know that two wrongs don't make a right!!

I am a FIRM believer in "If what you are doing isn't working, then try something different" But what? How would I get him to listen to me. I felt like I was on a search to "fix" him Logically though I knew it wasn't really about "fixing" him. What I really needed and wanted was to change my approach and get results.

I don't remember the first time it happened, I really wish I did. So I'll tell you the first time I remember. We were in the kitchen and I really did need him to grab the milk out of the fridge for me. In that moment I knew if I said "hey, grab the milk for me" that I wouldn't get any response. So out of no where I yelled "MERRY CHRISTMAS." He snapped around looking at me puzzled, laughed and said "what?"  (it was summer at the time) Calmly I asked " Can you grab the milk out of the fridge for me?" As he took the few steps to the fridge, I felt a sense of accomplishment and amazement. lol It had worked. As he handed me the milk he asked why I had said merry christmas. "Well" I replied "it got your attention didn't it?"

I now do this every time I feel it's required. I just say the most random thing directly before I ask him to do something. The things that work best are words or phrases that pertain to things he likes, things he can easily associate with. My husband is a mechanic and a gamer. Any tool/vehicle parts are always good. The ones he doesn't think I'd know about work best. I however am a woman and I retain most of what he says to me or talks about. Sometimes in convo he'll name one I haven't heard of  and immediately I will put it in my mental list of words to use in the future. Words like hammer, wrench, screw driver, those aren't good enough. Words like intake manifold, fly wheel puller, etc. Those are better choices.  Since I don't know much about todays video games, I file away quotes that I hear while he is playing (usually while I am trying to fall asleep)
Whatever your man is into, sports, cars, games, that's what will work best for you.

Now we all know men love sex. So do I and I am very open about it so sex...is what i mostly use. It's also highly effective. I know some of you will read this and say "I could/would never say that" Well I can, I will and I do. Things like:
"My nipples are hard...can you get me a fork?"
"My pussy is wet...don't forget to take the garbage out"
"I want to suck your dick...can you let the dog out?"
Not to long ago my husband went to the store for auto stuff. I asked him to get milk and a few other things. I knew chances are he would forget or get the wrong stuff so I sent him a txt, it said: "Don't forget the milk and (whatever else it was) or no suckie suckie for you tonight"
Not surprisingly, he came home with all the right items!
I also flash him or take my shirt off so when he walks in the room he sees me like that lol Gets his attention every time.

Trust me, a man won't forget something funny, random, manly or sexual that you say. He also won't forget what ever you say directly after those things lol

In the end, I get the results I want the first time. Instead of saying things multiple times, bitching, getting into a fight over it, making him mad at ME and then still having to grab the fucking milk myself. Best of all it provides much laughter.

  2. I didn't read this blog until this morning and didn't think about us discussing this trick unltil I got the results I wanted last night. I wanted help with the putting up like 2oo ears of corn in the freezer. He was watching tv. Instead of nagging I said, "Honey, is there anything I can get you? A cold beer? A blow job while I blanch this corn?" He laughed and got upp and helped me with my assembly line of corn.
