While I am on a roll and don't have access to my TV, I might as well go for one more post.
I will tell anyone with an ear and skin about using baking soda to exfoliate. It's so easy, works SO well and is so CHEAP as far as exfoliates are concerned and just in general. I buy a huge box of it for like $2
It's pretty harsh so you have to go light and let the soda do the work for you. You can use it straight and i do sometimes. Usually though I take a wash cloth, I have a loofah type cloth (it's not loofah but I don't know what the hell it is) I pour some baking soda into it. I pour the liquid tea tree oil soap I use on top, I lather it a bit then wash my body as I would with just soap, just with a lighter touch. I scrub pretty hard in those rough areas, feet, elbows, knees. Then rinse. Doing this before shaving will give you the smoothest shave ever in your life. Doing it in general will give you very soft skin. I do it twice a week. I use it on my face. It helps keep my skin clear. It will also help heal any cuts you have anywhere. Kind of like if you went swimming in salt water (if you've ever done that you know) You can do this with any soap and you can do it with just your bare hands. I swear by this tip. I heard Queen Latifah say she used it to keep her skin flawless, that her Grandmother taught her about it. I have been doing it ever since...big shout out to the Queen lol
DO IT!!!
Men can even use it and use it on their face before shaving. Just make sure you rinse it off first lol
ok.. i'm going to try it this weekend and i'll let you know what i think!! ;)

ReplyDeleteMeliss I have tried and put into practice all the tip you have given me, but the baking soda is my favorite way to pamper myself now! Thanks for sharing all that you do!!!!!
