Onions Stinking Up Your Fridge??

Very Quick and simple tip. Sometimes I cut onion but don't plan on using it right away or don't plan to use the whole thing. I may slice on onion for burgers later on that night but need to store them till dinner time. They stink up my whole fridge and I hate that. If you put it in a Ziploc or container, wrap the whole thing in foil, thick and tight. Make sure it's not torn anywhere. They won't smell anymore. The smell can go through plastic but not foil. Works for any other thing that stinks, such as left overs, something you have marinating. Salads with onions in them.

I buy cheap foil too for this purpose. I happen to love Walgreen's foil cause it's good quality. Also because I get it for pennies or free at Walgreen's all the time. I'll cover that in another blog post and link it to this when I do!
