Glass Cleaner Is Just A Gimmick

I don't care what you think works, it probably still leaves streaks. Streaking is just a word to describe a film or residue left behind. For years, cleaning mirrors and glass got on my nerves so badly. I have tried it all, every cleaner, every trick and still was always left with streaks. That is untill I found the little white towel.

 Glass cleaner is basically soap, with vinegar, water and whatever else. Streaking is just a word to describe a film or residue left behind. So if you use glass cleaner, you are putting a residue on and then rubbing it in till it's dry, leaving a film behind. Glass cleanerunneccesary. Above all I am not a fan of paying a couple bucks for something that only has one use.

I use 3 little white towels 1 wet, 2 dry. I wipe the mirror or glass down with the wet one, rubbing hard where or if needed to remove spots then drying it with the dry one until it is completely dry. When your dry towel gets damp, it's useless so that's where the second dry towel comes in. When drying, use light, fast strokes, you'll get it dry faster that way. NO cleaner and NO streaks, because, water doesn't leave a film.

If there ever is some nasty stuff, say on a bathroom mirror. Then I'll use a spritz of whatever bathroom cleaner I have, then I'll rinse it off with a wet towel then dry. The key is to RINSE off the cleaner if you use it. I usually just use really HOT water for my wet towel, it works just as well, better if you ask me... cause it's FREE.

HINT: Never clean glass/mirrors in sunlight or bright light.

I do have glass cleaner I use it for my car windows. I think Perfect Glass makes the best one. I use the glass cleaner THEN RINSE it with a wet towel and dry... NO STREAKS EVER!

You don't lick, eat off, or really touch mirrors or windows, so water is really all you need anyway.
